Samantha Ravich
Fellow, CSIS
Samantha Ravich is a Fellow at CSIS. Previously, she worked for the Smith Richardson Foundation where she managed the Asia and Middle East Portfolio in the International Security and Foreign Policy Program (1996-1999). She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her B.A. in economics from the Wharton School and her M.A. in city planning. She received her Ph.D. in policy analysis from the RAND Graduate School. While at RAND as an international policy research fellow (1992-1996), she worked on government-sponsored research on East and Southeast Asian trade and security trends. Ravich is the author of Marketization and Democracy: East Asian Experiences from Cambridge University Press
